Sutherland Global Receives Top Honors in 2008 Six Sigma Case Study Presentation Contest

Sutherland Global is an award winning multinational BPO provider that has been instrumental in providing business solutions to corporations all around the world. Recently, Sutherland Global Services was honored with best presentation in the 2008 Six Sigma Case Study Presentation Contest held by Indian Statistical Institute (ISI) and the Quality Council of India (QCI). This is the second time consecutively when Sutherland has won this award by beating the competition from some of the top companies in the technology and BPO industry.
The Six Sigma Case Study Contest takes account of those organizations that show continuous development through innovation in all spheres of business while delivering profitable results. Global Sutherland got the top award in the IT Enabled Services category with highest points in the result delivery to the client and on-time completion of projects by using quality initiatives.
In the case study, Sutherland applied the Six Sigma principles to two of the world’s largest PC manufacturers and derived profitable results through process development and productivity enhancement. These results were a direct outcome of the Six Sigma principles. Sutherland used the Six Sigma framework to eliminate ineffective process and maximize the value of customers by providing them satisfaction and reliability when it came to business.
